The GalaxLite Simplex Patch Cord, featuring ST/UPC to ST/UPC connectors, is designed for next-generation multimode fiber networks requiring high-speed data transmission with enhanced efficiency. Built with OM5 (wideband multimode fiber – WBMMF, 50/125µm), it supports Short Wavelength Division Multiplexing (SWDM), allowing for multiple wavelengths over a single fiber core. This enables 40GbE and 100GbE applications up to 150 meters and reduces fiber count requirements in high-density data center environments.
