The GalaxLite Simplex Patch Cord, featuring LC/UPC to LC/UPC connectors, is designed for next-generation multimode OM5 fiber optic networks. Constructed with wideband multimode fiber (WBMMF) 50/125µm, it supports shortwave wavelength division multiplexing (SWDM), enabling efficient transmission over multiple wavelengths (850nm–953nm). This allows higher data rates while reducing fiber count, making it ideal for 40G/100G/200G/400G Ethernet, cloud computing, and hyperscale data centers. The UPC-polished connectors ensure low insertion loss, and the OFNR-rated PVC sheath provides durability and compliance with riser space fire safety regulations.
